The best jailbreak tweaks for iOS 14

While some jailbreakers have been fortunate enough to enjoy a pwned handset since iOS & iPadOS 14 first dawned last year thanks to the bootrom exploit-based checkra1n jailbreak tool, others were a bit later to the party since the side-loadable semi-untethered unc0ver and Taurine jailbreak apps only just enabled support for iOS & iPadOS 14.0-14.3 on all devices within the past month or two.
Whether you’re entirely new to jailbreaking or you’ve been using a pwned iOS  or iPadOS 14 device since the major software update first dropped, you’re probably wondering what tweaks and add-ons you can install to get the most out of your jailbreak experience. Fortunately, we’re here to help you with that.

3) Arkita – $1.99
The Now Playing widget offered by iOS 14 leaves a lot to be desired; it’s not just bland, it’s lackluster. Artkita is a jailbreak tweak that lets you add more oomph to your handset’s Now Playing widget, and it does so by offering colorization and sizing options, depending on how you plan to use it.

BigSurCenter is, quite frankly, what Control Center should have been on iOS & iPadOS 14. In iOS & iPadOS 14, Apple brought forth a new date and time picker that falls inline with the content you’re viewing in an app. It’s a somewhat drastic change when compared with the classic wheel picker. If you wish you could go back to using the legacy wheel picker, then a free jailbreak tweak called Date Picker – Wheels is for you.
11) Déjà Vu – FREE
It’s amazing that while much of the smartphone market adopts always-on-displays, the iPhone continues to lack one. Fortunately, Déjà Vu is a free jailbreak tweak that brings a full-featured and no-compromise always-on-display functionality to jailbroken iPhones running iOS 14.

13) DisablePasteTips – FREE
I’m not particularly fond of iOS & iPadOS 14’s new Paste Tips feature, which displays where the contents of pasted text comes from when you paste it into another app. If you’re interested in getting rid of this feature, you can do so with a free jailbreak tweak called DisablePasteTips.

19) Emerald – $2.99
Everyone likes a little flash here and a little bling there, especially when it means that their jailbroken iPhone looks cooler than all the rest out there. Emerald is a jailbreak tweak that can help in that department, as it adds sleek and sexy new features to the Status Bar on pwned iOS 14 devices.
20) Eneko – FREE
With the introduction of Live Wallpapers, many thought that video wallpapers would have been replaced by the newer standard. If you listen to a lot of music via Apple Music and enjoy sharing the tunes with your friends, then you can learn more about the tweak in our full review.

30) NanoBanners (Sugiuta) – FREE
Even in iOS & iPadOS 14, banner notifications continue to take up more screen real estate than they need to, which blocks navigation bar buttons and other critical UI elements when they materialize. NanoBanners14 is a jailbreak tweak that solves that problem by putting banner notifications on a diet.
31) NappyTime14 – FREE
I love that I can set alarms to wake me up in the morning from the comfort of my iPhone’s Clock app, but I really wish it would show me how much time I had left before an upcoming alarm would fire. NappyTime14 is a jailbreak tweak that offers this functionality to all users.
32) Perseus – FREE
One of the top features to ship in iOS 14.5 is the ability to unlock your iPhone with Face ID even when you’re wearing a mask, as long as you’re wearing a paired Apple Watch. Unfortunately for jailbreakers on versions previous to this, Apple limits this functionality to the newer firmware. But all hope isn’t lost, as a free jailbreak tweak dubbed Persueus provides jailbreakers on other versions of iOS 14 with a similar functionality.
33) Pop Notification – FREE
Pop Notification is especially for iPhone X users on iOS 14. It makes it easier to interface with incoming notifications without having access to Face ID.

With it, you can reduce the number of steps needed to switch between those modes by taking advantage of conveniently placed buttons on the Now Playing widget.
35) ReachPlayer – FREE
Reachability has its uses, but I think it wastes so much space at the top of the display when invoked. ReachPlayer fills this void with a Now Playing interface so that it isn’t being allocated for nothing.
36) ReProvision Reborn – FREE
If you depend on a side-loaded, semi-untethered jailbreak such as Odyssey or unc0ver, then you need a way to keep the jailbreak app signed so that when you reboot your device you can re-jailbreak without any inconveniences. ReProvision offered one of the least-intrusive ways of doing this on the device itself, but it was discontinued by the developer. ReProvision Reborn is exactly what it sounds like, and it breathes new life into an otherwise dead project.
37) RingPercentLabel – FREE
We aren’t sure what Apple’s design team was thinking with the iOS & iPadOS 14 battery widget, but most people like to see numeric battery percentages in addition to battery level rings. RingPercentLabel is a jailbreak tweak that ensures all iOS & iPadOS 14 users have access to this functionality.
38) SafariBlocker – FREE
SafariBlocker is a must-have jailbreak tweak for anyone with chronic web browsing habits. With it, you can blacklist or whitelist web pages or domains on a case-by-case basis and take better control over your web browsing.
39) SendToDesktop – FREE
SendToDesktop makes it easy to transfer files to your computer from iOS or iPadOS 14’s native share menu, and it does so over a secure SSH connection.

45) Total Charge Tones – FREE
Your iPhone already plays a sound when you connect it to a Qi or MagSafe-enabled charger to power it up, so why doesn’t it make a peep when it reaches 100% battery? Total Charge Tones is a jailbreak tweak that makes this happen, and you can even pick the sound it makes.
46) WebShade – FREE
Dark Mode was one of my favorite features to ship with iOS & iPadOS 13, and it’s still weird to me that Apple didn’t expand upon it in iOS & iPadOS 14 with web support. Fortunately, a jailbreak tweak called WebShade picks up where Apple left off, expanding Dark Mode to the internet for all who care to save their eyeballs.
47) WidgetCustoms – FREE
iOS & iPadOS 14 include a bevy of new widgets via a brand new widget system that extends even to the Home Screen with the rest of your app icons. WidgetCustoms is a jailbreak tweak that offers settings for customizing your iOS & iPadOS 14 widget aesthetics in more ways than one.
48) WidgetRadius – FREE
I really like the new widget system in iOS & iPadOS 14, but for whatever reason, Apple decided to make older legacy widgets ugly by preventing them from conforming to the design aesthetics of newer ones – namely, the pointier corners. WidgetRadius is a free jailbreak tweak that solves that problem by rounding all legacy widgets’ corners so that they match those of the other widgets provided by iOS & iPadOS 14.
49) Xenon – $1.99
Being able to browse your iPhone jailbreak iphone or iPad’s root filesystem is a hallmark feature of jailbreaking, and Xenon makes that process easy to do from the comfort of your computer.

Made especially for iPadOS 14 users, Yuna helps users of the iPad’s larger display take better advantage of the wasted space in the Control Center interface by filling it with useful information.
