A teenage New Orleans Native, Honors graduate of Eleanor McMain Magnet School and currently on scholarship studying at Xavier University in pursuit of a Biology Premed degree.

The once pass time passion of uploading covers to YouTube has catapulted her into the music scene as an artist in demand. Alia has an incredible ability to write to any beat she listens to and project her voice as a beautiful songstress.

The first producer to approach with a project was Ryan Cooper he composed a beat and Alia wrote to it her now hit single “Gotta Go” available on iTunes and currently plays on Q93FM New Orleans. Upon posting that single to facebook and twitter many more producers started approaching with proposed deals. In August 2011 Alia decided to sign with Don B (Don Bartholomew, Sr.) CEO of Bang~N Records. She is currently working on her first CD project  a Christmas project that will feature the Legendary Dave Bartholomew due to release December 2011.

Alia has been blessed with the opportunity to perform at numerous venues including House of Blues New Orleans in August 2011, and opened for the National Scream Tour at the New Orleans UNO Arena October 2, 2011. In May 2012 she had the privilege to perform at the sold out musical extravaganza New Orleans Musicians for Obama where she received rave reviews.

Alia posses the triple treat of Beauty, Brains and undeniable Talent. While maintaining  her scholarship she is also completing her debut album "Risk It All" due for release July 4, 2012.

Alia is a future force to be reckoned with. As a singer and song writer she is equipped to take the industry by storm nationally and internationally..
