Brittany Nicole is a singer, songwriter, and musician. She has always had a love for singing and music but fell more in love when she picked up the guitar at the age of 16. She played at church and local competitions around her small hometown of Konawa, Oklahoma, where she graduated in 2009. She went on to attend East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma with hopes of pursuing a dental hygiene career. During college, her music career picked up a little. She competed and played more and more gigs at local bars. Her music dream began to grow. In 2011 she competed in the Texaco Country Showdown with James Ross, where they went on to win the regional competition, then compete at the state level with her original music. They lost the competition to a full band by only 5 points. Although it was frustrating she didn't let it stand in her way. She started focusing more on gigs and did a little recording. In 2012 she transferred to Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma and graduated in 2013 with an Associates in Applied Science and is a Certified Dental Assistant. Since then, Brittany has been working more on her music career and does not plan on pursuing a Dental Hygiene career. "Music is too important to me now to be put on the 'back burner'. That's where the Dental Assisting career is. Music is first." Brittany has all the support she could ask for from her boyfriend, family, friends, and fellow HMA musicians, and plans to take her music as far as the good Lord will let her. Brittany has opened for Rich O'Toole, and recently won second place in the Blake Shelton Showdown with her band Southern Gypsies.
