Celina G. Crawford was born December 12, 1979 in New York, NY, and raised in Washington, DC. She is a music educator who holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education with a concentration in voice from Bethune-Cookman University and a Master’s of Science in Reading Literacy from Capella University. Celina's unique upbringing and musical background has molded her into the musician she is today. She is a vocalist, songwriter and music educator who has instructed both children and adults since 1999. She has worked as a performer, vocalist, instructor and workshop clinician in several genres of music including Gospel, Jazz, R&B, Soul and Classical. Her professional and performance experience includes work with the Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale, Jazz Combo and Chamber Singers where she worked as an assistant director and lead vocalist. She has toured nationally and internationally, and has worked as a lead and background vocalist for studio projects, stage plays and live recordings. Celina continues to perfect her craft and is currently working on her debut project.
