DJ Mos Funk, grew up and began his DJ career in sunny South Florida. Influenced by an eclectic blend of reggae, hip hop and rock 'n' roll, he developed a well-rounded appreciation for music. DJ Mos Funk cultivated his craft by studying greats like David Rodigan and DJ Red Alert. As he solidified his style, he entered into the competitive dancehall and club circuit, all while pursuing his life long dream of becoming a paratrooper, firefighter and medic.
Since 2007, DJ Mos Funk has spent most of his time playing in South Beach and has also been active in the club circuit across North and South America. From 2008 to 2009, Mos Funk hosted a weekly radio mix show on KEUL 88.9 called "Good Life Vibez."
Currently, DJ Mos Funk is based in Boulder, CO, and spins at the city's top venues weekly. With his style and versatility, from setting the flow for fashion shows to dropping the baseline at dancehalls, DJ Mos Funk has proven himself as one of the best talents on the scene.
