Hanna Maria Brostroem is a danish artist born in Sweden. In her early years she started her studies in singing, dancing and acting. She also toured in Sweden as a jazzsinger with her father, Per Broström, who played the Clarinett. When she was fifteen she worked together with Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus in the making of the swedish musical "Kristina fran Duvemala" as a danish speaking coach. At the same age Hanna won a swedish singing competition, which was her first appearance as a singing soloist and dancer on stage. At the same age, she started studying classical singing at the Operastudio in Gothenburg, later she also studied in Stockholm. In the year 2000 she moved to Salzburg where she studied with Professor Knoll and Professor Bakow at Mozarteum, very soon after that she appeared as a singer in operas and musicals in both Austria and Germany. Being an educated dancer, she opened her two dancing schools close to Munich and continued her work as a choreographer for musical theatre, dramas and operettas. She also kept singing jazz, pop and drum&base, she had a great succes with the single "I just wanna be with you" featuring the drum&base musician B-Fuse, in the british drum&base clubs. After 5 years in Munich Hanna moved to Darmstadt to work as a musicalartist and choreographer for the musical "Fame" with great success. Work followed as a musicalartist in The Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar, Fiddler on the Roof, The Merry Widow, Aida - the Musical A.O. at Staatstheater Darmstadt. Hanna was also seen as Zarah Leander at Volkstheater Frankfurt, and as Rosalinde in The Bat at Papageno theater Frankfurt a.o. Hanna also educates future musicalartists in dance and singing at the Stage and Musicalschool in Frankfurt. In the last fifteen years, Da Hannah has been an succesful syncronized speaker and an active consert and studiosinger in different genres. Hanna sings Opera, Musicals, Pop, Jazz, R&B and Drum & Base. At the moment Da Hannah can be seen as Nehebka in Elton John´s Aida at Staatstheater Darmstadt.
