They say wise men come from the east & this young man, crowned Mpumalanga’s finest, is no exception. Born & raised in Middelburg, Dosline (Takalani Mkansi) has been dj’ing & producing since 2003.
The name Dosline, comes from his nickname Dosi, which his family used when referring to his cute nature as a child. As he grew older his friends also adopted it. Being shy to be called by his childhood pet name but reluctant to get rid of it, he simply remixed it to “Dos” with the ‘I’ represented by a line. That is how Dosline came to be.
Dosline’s talent has taken him from his hometown to every province in South Africa and has also created a demand for his gift in Swaziland, Zimbabwe & Namibia. Locally he has been invited to play on some of our biggest radio station’s such as Metro Fm, 5FM & Y-fm. Dosline's production and Dj skills have paved the way for him to work & play side by side with legends in the house genre at huge events with names such as Black Coffee, Dj Fresh, Mahoota, Fistaz, Euphonik, Lulo Café, Dj Cleo, The Naked Dj, Wilson B. Nkosi, Eddie Zondi, Dj Tira, Glen Lewis, Dj Christos & Oskido.
The sky is not the limit for Dosline and as he works on his second album, his quest is to elevate to higher levels of musical understanding and he promises to continue being the Conscience of Dance Music.
