Wil 'Era REdux' Ketchin started playing music in his early childhood, being raised in a home where music was an essential part of both the family and the individual soul. Throughout his teens he started a number of bands that gained great popularity around Connecticut's Farmington Valley, including Arms and the Man, I Sing and Acinima Divine. In 2009, Wil started taking a different approach to music and started playing with a keyboard and "twiddling knobs" on a midi controller, beginning to translate his passion and own unique language with music to an entirely new medium. Three years, thousands of hours, multiple collaborations, dozens of live performances later, and having assumed the name Era REdux, he is well on his way to gaining the attention of more than just listeners of Electronic Dance Music (EDM). Pushing boundaries in the semi-self-invented genre of Progressive Bass Music, his music is evidence that this artist knows no limits and has no recognition of the mainstream boundaries that separate the different varities of music we all listen to.
An experienced live performer, he has performed at scores of birthday and graduation parties, regularly brings his music to stages showcasing live bands, and steals the spotlight at regular Dubstep events in Hartford, CT. As well, he is a resident DJ on a weekly webcast 'The Rook and Dicky Tins Show' on Ustream every Thursday evening, airing out of the Collinsville Axe Factory. In addition to writing and performing music, Era REdux also has honed a great skill in producing his own music and the music of others, and has taken to providing lessons in Reason 5 to artists, technicians and fans interested in learning the programs.

A recent review of Era REdux hit the internet in early May and started a new buzz. The article entitled 'Dubstep in Connecticut: Era REdux' was written by Duane Brett of Lavish Republic and was published on imgood.info.
Kicking off the article, Brett makes reference to the fact that Era REdux is from a small community in Connecticut - a place very unlikely to have impacting music coming out of it. Referring to Era as having "insanely dedicated musicianship" and "a wide variety of creations, and an arsenal of skills" he presses his point that the music Era REdux is writing and producing possesses a "degree of originality that is difficult to match."
"A seemingly endless horizon of styles" and calling Era REdux a "gifted musician" are his closing words of praise to the artist and he begins a review of 5 original tracks.
"VER-24797", "Krista Waters", "The Sun Sets on You", "Rebirth", and "Lounge Lizards" are all reviewed by the author and mentioned as being some of his personal favorites. All these original tracks, plus many more, are all available for listen and many for free download on Era REdux's SoundCloud profile.
