Full Trunk, the exciting and energetic blues rock band (previously known as the Nisman Trio), is currently one of the most talked about groups. The band has been working intensively on the Israeli indie scene for the past few years, gaining an ever-growing audience.
After performing at almost every major stage around the country during the past four years, the band's debut album, also called Full Trunk, released in February 2014, was recorded in TOP SOUND studio at Migdal Ha'emek, north Israel.
The album, clearly influenced by the blues & rock genres of the 60s and 70s, made its way to the top of radio station playlists in Israel and around the world (mainly in France, Switzerland and Canada), attracting rave reviews in the music and media industries.
Just recently, the Israel Blues Society selected Full Trunk album as the best Blues album for 2014 and to represent Israel in the most prestigious blues event, the International Blues Challenge held in Memphis (Tennessee), USA, the blues capital of the world. This highly esteemed nomination is most appreciated as many top Israeli blues artists also released great albums this year.
In addition, Full Trunk has been invited to the International Music Showcase Festival 2014 in Jerusalem, to play infront of the top international decision makers from the music industry.
Full Trunk is now focused on a new album in English, raising the production funds via a headstart platform. The new album is due to be released at the beginning of 2015. The band also plans to tour abroad for the first time, with Europe and the US as the main destinations.

From the media:
After they’ve traveled to every corner in Israel, if you haven’t yet found an opportunity to listen to Full Trunk’s first-class blues rock, here comes the band’s first single, “Keep Trying”— which should convince every guitar fan with a soul to hear the band perform. (Raz Israeli, NRG Culture)
Nearly all the songs are songs are rhythmic, full of tempo and the band members have fully fused their sound. There were moments during the performance when it was possible to imagine that we were at a dusky blues evening in New Orleans. (Asaf Moaz, Nana 10)
This group does ‘raw’ blues rock that could have easily appeared in the hit parade of Rolling Stone magazine of the 70s. (Yuli Vardi, Andy Was Wrong magazine)
There are four things about this trio that especially spur my enthusiasm. They sound like they’ve been playing together since age 6; Gal is a terrific front man with an emotive, impressive voice and fingers of gold; they play refined, classic blues and rock, mostly in Hebrew, not getting lost in language transitions; and maybe most importantly, they simply let loose And don’t give a damn, making music, rock ’n roll, good times, Arak, and tearing up the stage. (Itamar Bronstein, Mirpesset magazine)
Only once every few years, a song like “Keep Trying” comes along, and you know the song with be with you always because it captures your heart. (Yuval Biton on the single “Keep Trying” from the blog Beat-on)
