Legynd ([lej-uh nd]), born October 28th 1987, Charles Marcus Anthony Jones Jr., In Hollywood, Ca. later moving to Atlanta, Ga. where he is currently working on his Debut Album entitled “L.O.L” Life of Legynd. Legynd, was raised in a God fearing home, lovingly by his grandmother. Always having a passion for music and the performing arts since the young age of 5 years old he was strongly influenced by the likes of Micheal Jackson, Prince, Bobbi Brown, Ginuwine, and Usher. No wonder the prodigy, coming from a bloodline himself of musical greatness(on both sides of his family), Legynd was destined to inherit “HIS” gift from his grandfather (fathers’ father) “Ollie Ray Jones” (member of, “The Platters” from the early rock and roll era;) And his late mothers', mother known as “Kitty”, (a local Chicago, Il., blues singer), not to mention Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fames’ “Little Richard” (is Legynds Cousin). During his path to greatness and development of his gifts, Legynd found a remarkable chemistry between Singer/songwriter “Fedarro” And himself. (Fedarro composed Legynds’ hit single entitled, “Do it On Her” & "Show Me Love" and In the words of Legynd, “It's been uphill since”. Legynd made music history by performing his single as an opening act for the original members of “Parliament” know by the world as “P-Funk Connection”. Needless to say the artist known as “Legynd” without a doubt earns this name as he derives from ancestors of the most successful entertainers the world has ever known. Now the world has a NEW “Legynd” who will carry the torch for the next generation.
