Witty, funny and extremely serious, Najah is sure to leave you with a lasting impression. L.A. born, but Bmore bred, Najah Schorre Bayyan is a triple threat. As a Vocalist, Host, and Spoken Word Artist, what began as what she calls being a, “Serial Open Mic'er" has transcended into quite an impressive resume.
She has risen, and continues to rise, as a celebrated performer among the Charm City poetry community and beyond. She has featured at Warm Wednesdays, Busboys & Poets, and Ra Brown’s Will Work for Food. She is formerly the monthly co-host of Poets for Dinner(2012-2015), as well as a former member of Ainsley Burrow's Sweet Spot Nation, a traveling Pop Erotica Poetry tour. Her care free poetry translates her confidence, her womanhood, and being the best individual. Najah has been published in Poets’ America; an anthology of political poetry. Her highly anticipated chapbook, The Men That Have Kept Me Busy, was released Spring of 2016. When she is not gracing stages and stealing hearts, she can be found studying and developing several other ways to make you fall in love with her.
