First In Bideford
Last night we played our first show in Bideford at the Joiners Arms.
What a great little pub and one that clearly loves live music. We went their supporting our friends Landspeeder and had a great time making some new friends.
next gig is in John Gandys in Exeter in a couple of weeks time AND we are going to start to record and album thanks to Johns Park Studios who are sponsoring the band. Exciting times in the Quorum camp.
Noah's first gig
Welcome aboard to our new bassist Noah.
Gig cherry well and truely popped, Noah played like he had been in the band forever. Grinning from ear to ear and smashing the bass sound that is synonymous with the Quorum style.
On to the next show, Guildford on the 30th August.
Lapstock performance review
Thank you Quorum for performing at Lapstock Young Bands night 2017. You provided a great show displaying not only your musical skills, but also engaged yourselves with the crowd and captivating them in your show. Performing is not just being a good musician you have to captivate the audience and engage them too, you did just that . Thank you.
Busy few hours at Quorum HQ.
Firstly we have received confirmation for a couple of great local festivals for 2018 which is fantastic. Next we have gotten a bit of funding to get us back in the studio before Xmas so hopefully a new release before the New Year.
we are also planning to get some acoustic stuff recorded so we can share that with you too.
After a frantic couple of weeks playing Lapstock and Open Arms Festival we are now getting ready to head down to the Chill Bar in Ilfracombe on the 19th August to play as a part of yet another festival event, this time raising money for Children's Hospice South West.
This is the start of a new Quorum chapter as our long time bassist Nathan has decided that Open Arms was to be his last show with the band. Needless to say we wish him luck with his future adventures. So moving on to The Ilfracombe show when our new bassist, Noah joins the party.
