Sol De La Noche is an original band inspired in Latin world music. Singer, song writer and guitarist Diego Manrique, in collaboration with percussionist and vocalist Gabriela Garza, interweave classical guitar, traditional and contemporary Latin music with influences ranging from Spanish flamenco guitar, rumba, son Cubano, Colombian porro, jazz, and cumbia. Diego Manrique and Gabriela Garza have combined independent performance experience of over 30 years in different cities around the world.
Sol De La Noche's size and members vary depending on the needs of the venue, with sizes ranging from two to seven performers. At its full size, the band is composed of the following instruments: trombone by Andre Ovalle, trumpet by Jose Chicas, bass by Vincent Spiak, piano by Sean Unstead, percussion by Oscar Gamboa, guitar, and voice.
