Suspicious Minds: A Tribute to Elvis Presley is a 6 piece tribute band with two objectives. First to pay Tribute to Elvis Presley and second to bring you a performance that is second best to Elvis himself. We strive to be as authentic as possible to Elvis’ 1969-1974 performances with a dash of our own personal flair. We are a 100% San Diego based group with the ONLY San Diego Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA). Lead singer Todd "TNT" Torres with his rich voice and strong Elvis background that is an obsession "TNT" plays the part of the "King". We have Rich Anthony playing the part of Ronnie Tutt (drums), his lovely wife Rinnah Anthony with a powerful, soulful voice as Millie Kirkham and Kathy Westmoreland (back up vocal, tambourine). Playing the role of James Burton and on occasion John Wilkinson we have Jeff Boggs on the guitar, and Nick Ruiz playing the part of Jerry Scheff on bass. All of our musicians have decades of experience in a variety of genres making them the perfect fit for an Elvis Tribute Band as Elvis himself was a multi genre performer ranging from Gospel, Rock, Country, etc. Some of the Venues played are The Belly Up, The Kraken, Tio Leo's Lounge, Balboa Park, US Sand Sculpting and 3D Expo, Manhattan Bar, Filippi's Pizza Grotto, Lemon Grove Summer Concerts and various other venues and private events. Surviving Covid
We are thankful for our health after the last year of uncertainty and looking forward to performing again after a year long hiatus. We welcomed a member Nick Ruiz, on bass. Thank you for sticking with us after everything got shut down.

Happy New Year!! We gladly welcome 2018. We had a lot of fun performing in 2017 but also a lot of personal and professional losses. Elvis Rocks Mesquite 2017
We are very excited to be the backing band this year for the Elvis Rocks Mesquite ETA contest. This is a 2 day event in Mesquite, Nevada. Elvispalooza at The Grove Theatre
Back in 2013, 11 ETA's came together for an Elvispalooza to help raise funds for the Grove Theater. JIm Kendall was there to photograph the event and wrote an amazing blog about the event. The Grove Theater is now a place where Elvis events are held several times each year. Being an Elvis Tribute Artist makes an ETA part of a special community of other ETA's and fans that have one thing in common: The love and desire to pay Tribute to Elvis Presely.

"What is an Elvispalooza without the most requested Elvis song and without a gospel power hymn? Boring! Fortunately, the show was anchored by Todd “TNT” Torres keeping the excitement going with Suspicious Minds and Chris Luna bringing us to humble, quiet reverance with How Great Thou Art. Their respective performances were far from boring.
Torres brought us all back to the unique, charismatic, rock roots of Elvis expressed magnificently with Suspicious Minds. The song is a rock-n-roll ballad with guitar rifts, heavy drums, and a symphony of horns making our ear drums ring and our bodies rock to its rhythmic beats. Watching Torres perform it took us all back to that Las Vegas stage where Elvis did the song as only he could. Torres gave us a great Elvis illusion of what it was like to see Elvis."

This is a Rage Fest, several bands will be performing: Rage Again: Tribute to Rage Against The Machine, Brixton 76', Dead Poet Society, Color Til Monday, Jagged Lines, Cold Craft.
