Team EastSide Snoop was born in Detroit Michigan and started rapping in high school with a group called the Ghetto Boyz/ Team East Side. His influences include 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti, Future, and Gucci Mane. Up until recently Snoop wasn’t taking his career in the rap game seriously but has now decided to do a solo project because the streets have been asking for it. He has always thought of his fans as the people in the streets or ghetto. He feels their pain struggles and situation because he is there with them. His demeanor is one of a cool ghetto laid back outcast that doesn’t take any BS. At the top of solo career he hasn’t developed a message yet but he does tell his story with facts. When people see him and hear his story they see a break out artist who made it from the bottom and climbed his way to the top.
During Snoop’s time with the Ghetto Boyz/ Team Eastside he made connections with TM88, NephewTexasBoy, Zaytoven, and dream Chasers’ O Melly. He has opened up for every major artist that performs in Detroit as well as performs every year at The Detroit Summer Jam with his group. Snoop only released 1 song as a solo artist, called Chicken Up, which ranked at #1 in Michigan after just 1 month.
In the future Snoop targets the main stream but if not he can survive off of the love and money he gets from home. All he needs to feel successful is to be able to write his own checks, have a big house on the hill and a pretty girl so he isn’t concerned with fame he just wants to be heard. Snoop's journey in the game has been very smooth with very little issues and with a growing love for the creativity, recognition, and self-reliance. All that he ask is that people remember him as the guy who put the real Detroit on the map and showed how most of the people really live.
