Mz. Goodie aka Dakeavia Williams born March 25, 1986 born in Tampa Fl and raised a portion of her life in Broward County. The third sibling of five kids of her mother Mrs. Dee Screen.
Mz. Goodie says she wasn’t born in poverty,but also wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth as well. Mz. Goodie singing began when she and her siblings joined the church choir at the church they were attending at the time round the ages of seven and eight years old and took a liking to different sounds. Mz. Goodie became even more intrigued when she began to notice the writing of poetry by her Mom and took a strong interest in the way the words connected in rhyme. By the time she was twelve years old she began to pair her words lyrically to music forming a group with her two other siblings all while discovering and mastering her craft at the tender age of fifteen a gift that would soon be noticed by one of the hottest local groups at that time named the Black Jack Boyz shortly naming her the Black Jack Queen developing her into the Artist of performance she was destined to be with show bookings from Atlanta to Miami. After departing from the group in 2006 Goodie never giving up began to experience the challenges of life with multiple girl groups ending up as a solo artist dropping her first mixtape in 2009 titled IT’S ALL GOOD performing show after show putting on a per sauna of being happy, but secretly mentally drained. The recognition and support began to disappear and Goodie attitude began to decline with change alienating herself from the world of entertainment. In the mist of everything Goodie was going through she gave birth to two beautiful kids D’Ziah now seven and Jodiah now two years old. Goodie says while life took over, the Entertainer in her never left landing roles in a couple of local movies in Tampa Florida with one of them making it to Netflix with great encouragement to hop back on that music train relocating from Florida to Georgia Goodie says this the most she has been so determined to conquer the dream she always new live inside of her. Goodie says I had to find and learn to love me and my two kids are my greatest purpose. Currently Mz. Goodie is midst of dropping of what she feels is her 1st legitimate Ep while connecting with local shows to give her name a buzz with doing what she loves
