The Outfield
British rock trio, The Outfield, created a sound that captured multi platinum success in the mid 80’s and early 90’s with hits such as ‘All The Love (In The World)’, ‘Since You’ve Been Gone’, ‘Voices of Babylon’, 'For You' and the mega hit that defined a generation, ‘Your Love’. With their bright vocals, surging choruses, chiming guitars and frisky backbeat, The Outfield have ingrained their sound DNA into US radio waves for 25 years.
Fast forward to 2011. The band has expertly expanded and reinvented their music’s essence. All original members, John Spinks (songwriter/guitarist), Tony Lewis (bass/lead vocals) and Alan Jackman (drums), have refined their musical chemistry during the making of Replay. Recording and production work took place in various recording studios in the south of England that included the legendary Abbey Road Studios.
The band’s new studio album, Replay, resonates with melodic swagger amid a swirl of carefully constructed musicianship. A distinctive culmination of The Outfield’s concise craftsmanship, Replay, puts faith back into the guitar driven pop rock genre.
