Gerard Langley, also known by his stage name, “Gnice” sums up his name into one acronym…The M.A.T.H. (Musician, Artist, Trainer and Host). His passion for music has been deeply rooted and instilled in him through a long line of his family’s passion of the art. Gnice describes his music as an eclectic mixture of soulful rhythm and blues, jazz with a refreshing splash of REAL hip hop. His artistry reaches the hearts of many with the vocals and lyrics that comes from his upbringing in the rough streets of New Haven, CT. Gnice considers himself a very well rounded artist that simply cannot be fit nor stuck in a one lane-market. Everyone can say that they are, “what the industry is missing” on the contrary, his soulful artistry and love for music is what can be reflected in several markets of the business. Those markets would include R&B, Jazz, a touch of Rock, and of course Hip Hop. Many have tried to, “put me in a box or one category”, as Gnice says, however, many have been proven wrong. Though known for his soulful voice and witty lyrical content, alongside a very dynamic stage presence and ability to move any crowd, many would say that Gnice is a true performer and front-man for several talented musicians, along with very well-known names in the game. He has been blessed with the ability to write and produce his own music; not only for himself, but for several other artists that are affiliated with his supporting cast and band.

Accolades and Accomplishments:
Gnice has opened up for greats in the industry such as, T-Pain, Nas, The Wu tang clan, Charlie Wilson, The Force MD's, Case, Carl Thomas, BBD (Bell Biv Devoe), CT’s own former signed recording artists Shomari, Slick Rick, Joe Budden, Talib Kwali, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, and many more. He has also recently started new ventures with HMG's very own, Vic Steffens, and former Sony A&R Mike Caplin, along with talented producers and artists. Gnice’s vocals have also been recorded on a major record entitled “Love Wins” with the great Harry Connick Jr. He has also danced for Hip Hop legends RUN DMC.

Experience in the game:
Gnice has played with greats and currently leads his own Band of talented musicians called “Gnice and the Family Affair Band”, also known as “Band of Brothers”, which is well known throughout the state of CT. The band consists of younger sibling Keywest, artist, singer, songwriter, Charisse Hill also known as CNicole, and several other key members such as, Jeff Noble, Brian Lorde, and Tony Langley. Coming soon, Gnice will be on a collaboration album, self-titled “CT Alliance” under Elm City Music/C.Capital Records. Last but certainly not least Gnice is working on several projects for the NFL's own Denver Broncos with his talented cousin Andrew Young aka The Mad Fanatic' The voice of the Denver Broncos.
