Born David Alexander in Tulare, Ca TroniX has always had the constant goal, to produce music that will cause the top music stars in the industry to stop and listen. “I want to get to a point where my music causes the stars in this industry to just stop and take notice of the possibilities with me." TroniX has been involved with music for over 16 years. He picked up his first instrument (drums) at the age of 9 where he learned how to read and write music. He quickly emerged as one of the top music students in his class, leading to many leadership roles through out his life which has shaped his personality today. He continued his music studies at Cal State University, Fresno where he was an active member of the University's Drumline. His passion for music led him to teach at multiple junior high schools as well as his high school alma mater Tulare Union High, where he composed original material for the drumlines who participated in many state wide competitions. “Teaching at these schools really brought out the creative side in me. I was able to hone my leadership skills, create shows and new beats for these drumlines at will. It was a great experience!” During 2006, TroniX was introduced by a friend to music creating software where his unlimited creativity went to work! He never looked back. It was at this time TroniX began getting familiar with Guitar and Piano, listening to the likes of Coldplay, Elton John, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and many more, all while creating infectious beats influenced by styles such as Timbaland, Will.I.Am and Pharrell Williams. Shortly thereafter in early 2007, TroniX immediately enrolled in the Los Angeles Recording School to pursue a much deeper understanding of audio so that he could further perfect his production craft. He graduated from the accredited school in 2008 which led to his internship with then J Records' label Underdog Entertainment. It was there at Underdog Entertainment where he began to gain his first hand major exposure to the music industry and how it worked. Rubbing shoulders with the likes of many celebrities, TroniX was blessed with the opportunity to accompany and gain knowledge from some of the major acts in the music industry today, such as Harvey Mason Jr. (CEO/ Producer of the Dreamgirls soundtrack plus many, many to name), Steven Russell (Singer/Songwriter), James Fauntleroy II (Songwriter of Jordan Sparks “No Air” Chris Brown’s “Take You Down” Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” to name a few), Rob Knox (Producer of T.I’s “Dead and Gone” , Chris Brown’s “Get at Ya”, Britney Spears’ “Mannequin” to name a few) David “Touch” Wright (Director of A&R for Def Jam) and many more! With his passion, experiences and knowledge in music, TroniX is sure to be one of thee premier future producers in the game!
