Born on May 13 1983, Came to a family of great music background especially My Dad a pastor & song administered. Alston Began his music career at a very young age in Liberia, West Africa.

Attended The College West Africa Monrovia Doing Music as elective Course. provided the backdrop for "ATech" to develop his God given talent by allowing him a platform to express himself both vocally and instrumentally.

A-Tech Been Around The World part of Europe Before coming to the United States, Atech continued to grow as a musician by writing Songs for local Artists and continuing to perform in Around the US Chicago IL,Dallas TX & more especially his cities Minneapolis MN.

The music of AtechRecords is a unique & Di-versed.(R&B POP Soul Dance,Hip-Hop Reggae African & more). Atech love for music and his fans is evident in every show stopping performance he gives.

It is A-tech wish that everyone can find something to relate to in his music.

SB * How has been your experience as an independent artist in Minnesota?

Great,

SB * When did you discover your talent and became interested in being a musical artist?

Since I was a little boy I have been interested in singing in school choir ,talent shows, church and more. I studied music as my elective course in high school, which provided the motive to develop his God given talent by allowing me a platform to express myself both vocally and instrumentally. I continued to grow as a musician, writing for others local artists doing collabs with many different artists and producers. Such as Junny P from Do or Die Sonica Records and Allstar more..

SB * Which movements have you been influenced by?

Any artist that has a position song with a great message.

SB * And who are your influences?

Yes, my influences are as follows: I grew up listing to MJ, Boyz II Men, Dr Dre, WastLiife, Gerald Levert, Bobby Brown Charles Wilson, and many others great artists around the world, which added to my diversity and unique style of music.

SB * Where do your ideas come from? Would you tell us about your creative process?

I think this came as a special gift from above. I don't write lyrics..All it take for me to write a whole song, is when I'm feeling the beat and that's all lol.. I freestyle all my lyrics and remember all lyrics instantly when the song is recorded. That's how it has been since day one..I dont know where that style came from, but i accept it as a special gift from God and I love that.

SB * Tell us what role recognition and Awards have on your career?

Recognition and awards are surely ones of the crucial moments for any artist, indeed that's why we work for as an artist, but I consider as a great prize..when your hard work pays. Examples: my fans, friends that show me all the love and supports. My music and fans is evident in every show stopping performance I give. Cause It is my wish that everyone can find something to relate to in my music.

SB * What challenges have you found in your work as an independent artist?

The challenges are many, but the most hard is to impose your music onto others and being able to promote and sell your materials among others artists. But as long you know what the people likes.. that's the key..Give than what sounds pleasant to the ears and help make their day..

SB * What is your greatest ambition as an artist?

That everyone can find something to relate to in my music, and my work would be remembered eternally.

SB * What are your working on at present? Would you give us a preview?

Currently Working on a Two Mix tape "Project for the "Summer" Both R&B & Hip-Hop. finishing of 1st Album materials & Official Video to be release with the album this summer which official date will be announce.

SB * Finally, what advice would you give a new artists just starting and wondering where to start in this music business?

My advice to all that chasing this dream.. Is to keep doing what you do..believe in your self and know what got it.. Cause time and dedication pays. But it just a matter of when your time 2 shine .That season for harvesting all your hard work planted.
