BLESSING MAGORE MUSIC
Zimbabwean born Blessing Magore is one of UK’s rising singer-songwriters-producer who has created his own unique fusion of his Zimbabwean sound and Afro-Pop music. with some hints of Reggae and Dancehall. This 26 year old musician, who moved to the UK at the age of 17, also sings in his mother tongue of Shona and performed on variuos stages in the UK including the NEAT14 Festival and 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup Screenings, where he gave stellar performances.
Blessing’s passion for music started at the age of five. Whilst growing up, he learnt various instruments from guitar, piano and drums to marimba and mbira. He gained his music experience over the years as a session musician playing for different artistes and bands at various events around Zimbabwe and the UK.

Our wonderful sound engineer Claudia is off traveling again, and this time for much longer. So we feel it is right to give both her and our little night a good send off. The Hargreaves project aims to inspire children to express themselves through words, poetry, and music. The Hargreaves have worked in schools with children performing individual and group activities, the project has developed into full ensemble pieces and will culminate in an EP launch at the Albert Hall Nottingham on 1 May.
Join us in the Cafe.Bar for an exclusive pre launch of The Hargreaves Project & EP. During the evening there will be a sneak peek into what they are doing at the moment and what to expect at their launch in May.

With live music from Blessing Magore, international food tasting, free creative activities for all ages and information stalls. Everyone welcome. Refugee Week is a nationwide celebration of the positive contribution that refugees make to our communities, 16 - 22 June.
Blessing will be showcasing his Afro/Funk Reggea vibes with the band. it's a gig not to be missed.

The Friday sees plenty more soulful sounds coming your way. Kicking things off we’ll have TASHA DEAN, who brings a bit of poppy R&B flavour to the proceedings. Huge catchy choruses, and uplifting vibes a plenty, we’re sure that Tasha will bring the sun out, and have you dancing as well. Keeping you dancing, we’ll have the also ridiculously catchy sounds of BLESSING MAGORE. We recently did a session with Blessing, and since we recorded it, the entire Nusic team have been dancing around, talking about a “love revolution.” He made us feel the love, we’re sure he’ll make you feel it too!

Our launch event on Tuesday 7 October features a performance from Blessing Magore. Blessing is a 20 year old Zimbabwean musician who moved to the UK at the age of 17. He gained his music experience over the years as a session musician playing for different artistes and bands at various events around Zimbabwe. Alongside Blessing, we also look forward to welcoming singer Yasmin Issaka, whose music style is described as neo soul and acoustic folk.

As another huge talent to sprout out of the legendary CRS studios, Blessing has been creating a musical fusion of Afro-Funk Reggae within the Notts music scene with unique influences of Samba, Zouk, RnB, Jazz, and Pop. Sublime songwriting with a positive message and backed by one of the happiest live bands, he has been described as the ‘Jimmy Cliff of Nottingham’.
