Christopher Keoni Abella Rodriguera aka Chris Reezy, was born in Hilo, Hawaii. The year that he was born in is not important. Chris lived most of his life in the islands of Hawaii and graduated from Kauai High School on the island of Kauai.
Chris Reezy moved to the island of Oahu for college and that's where he discovered his love for music while attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa. In 2001, he learned how to play the keyboard and developed his skill while playing in a worship band for The Salvation Army church.
Chris Reezy joined The Hot Rain Band in 2004 and has been playing keyboards and singing for Hot Rain ever since. Hot Rain released their debut album, "Self Titled", in November of 2011 and Chris Reezy is featured on the track titled "Heavyweight Love".
While playing music with Hot Rain, Chris has had the opportunity to play for international artists such as: Marty Dread, Cas Haley, Landon Brown, Jr. Reid, Tanya Stephens, and Tarrus Riley. Chris has also had the opportunity to play for local artists such as: Kaipo Kapua, Kimie, Lion Fiyah, Laga Savea, Kiwini Vaitai, Siaosi, Fiji, and J Boog.
Playing music with Hot Rain has also given Chris the opportunity to travel and play music across the United States and also travel to many places around the world such as: Guam, Tonga, Samoa, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan.
Chris has also been apart of five US tours while playing with Hot Rain and J Boog, including the Wintergreens tour, supporting Rebelution.
Through the years, Chris Reezy's love for music has remained the same. Chris continues to approach music with a grateful attitude and gives all glory to God for every success and blessing that has come from it. Chris will always put hard work and dedication into his love for music and looks forward to where it will take him next.
