Abel Ortega, more commonly known as DJ AR is an Austin born, TX native. His obsession with music started at a very young age, when he saw DJ's performing at the breakdancing battles and also heard them performing on the radio. DJ AR would regularly go to the b-boy battles, where the DJs seemed to have cast a spell over the audience. This caught his attention and he wanted to become a DJ himself. After his obsession with DJing, AR did a summer job to get enough money to buy a Gemini DJ starter kit. This kit included 2 turntables and a mixer. DJ AR's journey in the music industry started over 16 yrs ago. But quite recently, he decided to transform this hobby into a full time obsession. During his 3 year long professional experience, AR has performed with various well-known DJ's including:

It is advent that DJ AR has acheived in his 3 years of experience, what many fail to acheive in their whole lifetime. He aims to keep on exciting the crowds as long as he can. DJ AR takes his craft seriously. Unlike other DJs, he does it for his own pleasure. He has a strong bond with music that prompts him to keep on performing his craft. He works on a simple philosophy, " Last impression is the key to a successful event." His main aim is to always his events on a high note, leaving the audience mesmerized and wanting to come back for more. DJ AR pays close attention to the demands of his clients and works to fulfill them in the best way possible
