In 2003, a group of guys met by chance and decided to pick a little music in the back of an archery shop. Within minutes of their first song, the music turned from just picking, to some amazing magic. The guys knew this was meant to be, and from that moment, "Gold Country" was born.
Since then, the guys have had an amazing run of shows in the Arkansas and Oklahoma areas, and have turned out 3 CD's of covers and original songs. They have established a teriffic group of fans and have met some amazing folks along the way.
They are honored to support everything from local charities, The Arkansas Children's Hospital, and numerous Veterans causes. This has humbled Gold Country with the title of, Official Arkansas D.A.V. Band, which was never expected.
The guys have had one motto from the beginnng, and they still follow that motto today....They're "still having fun"
Devastating floods are ripping though Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas, so we can't stress enough to all of our great fans in these states. Stay safe and don't take any chances...
Daymon, Bill, Jack, James and Steve...
