William "ill Will" Pittman is a 17 year old hip hop artist with his own group titiled $EFG (Strive Everyday for Greatness). As you listen to his music, you will recognize that not only is he an artist but a young lyrical genius. Growing up, his mother and father loved to listen to oldies. His father is a huge Jay-Z fan which had a major influence on iLL WiLL as a child. In the city of Chester, PA where he was raised, violence is prevalent and drugs plague the streets, so his parents made sure he was always pushed to excel in school, which caused him to develop a love for words. That led him to become a writer, and eventually a rapper. Therefore, in his music he speaks of his efforts to avoid being on the streets, and keeping his focus on his future. His taste in music is diversified.  He prefers to listen to R&B artists such as Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, and Jill Scott, which influences his choice of beats. iLL WiLL's personality is smooth, focus-driven,and laid back. His target audience consists of young to mature adults.
