Formed in October of 2013 in Fayetteville, AR, Iron Iris began as four guys with different musical backgrounds jamming heavy music in a basement. Drawing from many musical influences, Iron Iris developed a unique sound and style. Blending fast thrashy riffs with heavy grooves Iron Iris appeals to a wide audience of listeners. The current members are Andrew Flory, Alex Mathews, Brian Bailey, and Chase Chamberlain.

Andrew Flory: Vocals/Guitar

Andrew is a founding member of Iron Iris and supplies vocals, rhythm, and some lead guitar work. Andrew has a very wide array of musical influences from New Wave of British Heavy Metal to Classical Guitar. He has a Bachelor's of Music degree with a focus in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of Arkansas.

Alex Mathews: Bass

Alex is a founding member of Iron Iris and plays bass for the band. Alex's playing is a large part of Iron Iris' unique sound. His bass playing blends his blues background with more complex passages which is an integral part of Iron Iris' music.

Brian Bailey: Drums

Brian Bailey joined Iron Iris on the drums in August of 2014. Brian has a Bachelor's of Music with a focus in Jazz Studies from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith. He uses both his background in Jazz and Metal to add an interesting and driving dynamic drum sound to Iron Iris' music.

Chase Chamberlain: Guitar

Chase joined the band on guitar in August of 2015. Chase is currently working on his Bachelor's in Music from the University of Arkansas. Chase is a very technical player and is a valuable asset to the band.
