DeAndre Green best known as Jrey Cash was born in Bronx, NY in 1992. His family moved to Buffalo, NY at the age of 14 years old, where he then developed his passion for music. DeAndre aka Jrey Cash played point guard for the varsity basketball team at Lafayette High School.
Basketball came easy to DeAndre as he discovered he can “hoop” at the early age of 9 years old while living in the Bronx. He knew basketball was just a phase but it came easy to him and when he moved to Buffalo, he developed the nickname “Bronx” while playing high school. At age 14, “Bronx” fell in love with music and begin writing and recording, gradually transitioning into Jrey Cash the rapper. As the starting point guard at Lafayette high school, Jrey Cash or “Bronx” at the time was best known for his flashy handle, which he later converted into flashy lyrics. Jrey Cash’s music stands out today, just the same way is skills stood out on the basketball court knowing that he was always destined to be great. Sticking with music, Jrey Cash created a viral hit titled “Chips,” which became his most popular song he has thus far and he remains consistent with releasing records every month.
