Life has twists and turns , ups and downs but how you take it and let it shape you is who you really are . Easy going life moving in and out between Tallahassee Florida to Memphis Tennessee back and forth the movement never killed the drive . Life situations of thinking it couldn't go wrong to live normally to losing it all and being homeless just motivated the beginning of what would be the beauty within the struggle.
Through mutual relations Kent was brought to Grammy awarded , top charted producers Cool n Dre who own Epidemic records
Kent started playing keys on certain records which led him to not only be seen as a musician but later on Cool n Dre discovered his talent as an Artist
Kent for 2 years straight lived in the studio where his music skills and drive grew and sharpened , Kent produced and cataloged enough music for three tips
Kent later on was brought to DJ Khaled who he is currently signed too “We the Best Productions” and is managed by Cool n Dre.
July 16th 2015 Kent Jones dropped his first official mix tape for free download off We the Best Imprint.
We also dropped the first single video on the mix tape on World Star for “Bri’s Intro” with over 2 million views
Right now we are in a promotional stage for his mix tape Tours with blogs, radio plays, club hosting’s as well interviewing.
Kent will be releasing another project (mix tape) in September which is already in production.
An everyday basis for Kent and his love for music includes him producing beats, new records and creating fundamentals to help the extent of growth and exposure for his music.
In this duration Kent worked on projects with Fat Joe, DJ Khaled, Ace Hood, Queen Latifah, Currency, The Game, Cool n Dre as well as Betty White.
Talent is inevitable but what makes a musician/ artist stand out is who he is and what he can provide not only to himself but to an industry of competition in music as well as production.
