Lauren Grant is a Folk/Indie singer based in Dallas, TX. She was born in Japan and has lived in many countries including Italy and Switzerland before she made her way to America. Learning from her father to play guitar at the young age of 12 she started writing songs at the age of 15. Writing and singing has since been her passion. Her influences come from a wide variety of artists such as The Cranberries, Lee Ann Womack and No Doubt.
Lauren Grant has been performing in public concerts since 2003 and has had a musical guest appearance on Trix In The Hat TV show, was a Jingle Contest Judge on 106.1 KissFM Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, performed at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Fort Worth, TX.,
had an original song used in Guess™ ad and performed an original song for a Victor Clark™ clothing TV commercial. In addition she was one of the top ten finalist in the 2013 "Songs That Save" songwriter competition for St. Judes and won the 2014 Dallas Indie Festival "Artist Of The Year" award.
She has performed locally at Ricks Chop House, Club Dada, The Green Room, Spoons Cafe, Iron Cactus, Sambuca and many more.
