Mano’s vast array of experience has solidified him as a formidable talent in music and fashion. Growing up in the south side of Chicago, the soul music of his hometown became the foundation of his craft. Integrating genres of music including Indie Rock, soul, jazz, French House and Electronic music. Mano began his career as a DJ and producer, crafting remixes and producing for artists including Justice, Daft Punk, Rye Rye, Good Charlotte and Mindless Self Indulgence. Mano also made himself a staple Club/tour DJ Performing on the Glow In The Dark Tour, Chicago’s Congress Theatre, Lollapalooza, Red rocks, Webster’s Hall, Madison Square Garden and more.
In past years, Mano served as the official DJ for renowned artists including M.I.A. and Travie McCoy from the Gym Class Heroes and his Most noticeable client, Mano had established himself as Kanye West dj/proucer. Serving on the MBDTF world tour, Watch The Throne and Yeezus, becoming an integral part of their shows and touring across the globe. Mano’s ear for music has continued to elevate his experience in production as well—he is the producer behind the boards for major hit singles such as The Weeknds ‘The Hills’, which went 7x Platinum, billboard hot 100 #1 for 6 weeks in a row and went on to win a Grammy award, three Billboard music awards and a JUNO award for songwriter of the year in 2016. Mano has also crafted incredible production for some of the biggest names in music like Pusha T’s ‘Who I Am’ on his Def jam solo debut “MNIMN”& most recent ‘Sunshine’ feat jill scott on “Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude” , 2 Chainz’s ‘Like Me’ on the riaa certified platinumalbum “BOATS” , Travis Scott ‘3500’ from his debut “RODEO”, Trey Songz ‘Blessed’ & ‘Everybody Say’ from the “TWIMC” Dj drama gangsta grillz, and Big Sean’s “Ashley” feat Miguel and “Switch up” feat Common from his sophmore good music release "Hall of fame" and "all your fault" from his most recent Riaa Certified Platinum album "Dark sky paradise"As well as the latter’s successful "Detroit mixtape" which includes the 1st single “How It Feel”, “All i know” feat Wiz Kalifa and “do what you gotta”. He further added to his repertoire by co-producing ‘To The World’ on Cruel Summer after his previous contribution to ‘Lost In A World’ from the blockbuster "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" album.
The long awaited Treated album was the inception of the Treated Crew (a group of creatives turned design firm started by himself and long time best friends Mic terror & HXLT), a formation of inspiring talent in Chicago which includes rising stars Hxlt, Mic Terror, Chuck Inglish, Jon Jame$, Saint Millie & OG Webbie amongst more. The album, produced by Mano and mastered by legendary musician Mike Dean, demonstrated their distinct sound and depth in roster. In conjunction, Mano also created the illustrious Treated Crown, in colaboration with JUGRNAUT chicago and Starter brand which sent the world into frenzy with its lux design aesthetic selling both the Crown and Album for $150usd which is completely sold out. The crown has been donned by the likes of Jay-Z, Kanye West, Cara Delevingne, Pusha T, The Weeknd and more. The brand of Treated Crew is continuing to flourish amongst key tastemakers with the release of the highly anticipated collection/album with Saint Alfreds & Stüssy entitled Treated Tribe in May, 2014. The Treated Tribe collection/album cemented the collective as the leaders within the culture demonstrating cutting edge designs and captivating sounds curated by Mano and the treated cult. His most recent collaboration to date is the Treated x PHENOMENON: LOOP MA-1 Bomber Jacket released in japan and Phenomenon retailers world wide. Now having signed a co-prod deal to Warner/Chappell, only time will tell what's next for Mano— whether he's constructing a beat, designing clothes, visual art or writing lyrics, the young creative does it to a critical acclaim that doesn't seem to be slowing anytime soon.
