The band is made up of two former members of The Southern Rock Allstars, Scott Mabrey & Charles Hart.
"The Southern Rock Allstars" led by legendary drummer Jakson "Thunderfoot" Spires
a founding member of Blackfoot.
The Allstars had a revolving lineup of musicians including "Original Era Molly Hatchet" members Dave Hlubek, Duane Roland and Jimmy Farrar with occasional appearances by Steve Holland, Banner Thomas, Riff West and Bruce Crump. Scott & Charles were not only friends but shared the stage with these southern rock legends . Combined with former Molly Hatchet guitarist Kevin Taylor and seasoned Vocalist Mikkel Chandler and heavy hitter Todd Stansfield on drums, give you a power packed professional high energy show that you won't forget.

Scott Mabrey (Vocals, Guitar)
Scott hails from Detroit,Michigan....Detroit Rock City....Its here that he fused his love of heavy metal and hard rock into his own brand of music. Rocking the walls of many clubs in the Detroit area. In the early 90's Scott relocated to Muscle Shoals, AL. It was there that he took advantage of the opportunity to work in recording studios around the Muscle Shoals area that helped to sharpen Scott’s skills as a recording engineer as well as a producer. These skills were put to good use as he worked on Bo Bice's, pre American Idol, first studio release. Scott, along with partner Ava Aldridge, worked with pre Nashville Star winner Angela Hacker. Scott was a founding member of “Tank n Steele” a rock band with four studio releases and toured the southeast headlining clubs & bike rallies.
In 2002, Scott was hired as F.O.H. Engineer for the Southern Rock Allstars. former members of Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, Rossington Band and Marshall Tucker. Later in 2004 Scott took the stage as one of the guitarist for SRA. 2005 saw Scott accepting a position with the reunited ‘Blackfoot’ as their Tour Manager & Front of House Engineer. In the meantime Scott & founding Blackfoot drummer, the late Jakson Spires, were writing & recording “Legends Never Die” which would eventually become the first release from Thunderfoot. Soon after this, Scott was hired as F.O.H. Engineer by Gator Country "Original era members of Molly Hatchet" and He now spends his time playing guitar for Thunderfoot and new project, "Molly Axed-It" A tribute to Original era Molly Hatchet.
Charles Hart ( Bass Guitar & Vocals )
Charles is from a little town in south Alabama stuck right between the home towns of Hank Williams, Hank Locklin, and William lee Golden of Oak Ridge Boys fame...He grew up listening to WSM Nashville with his dad then late night searching the rock stations on the AM dial....Dreaming of the day he would get his shot..... While Charles has spent the last 14 years as bass player for the Southern Rock Allstars, his rockin' resume goes back even further than that. He founded Cruize Control in 1986, and in 1987 joined Tempera, who appeared with Richard Marx's first tour.He even did a short stint in Adam's Housecat, whose members became the driving force behind the Drive By Truckers. Charles then united with Jay Johnson (Rossington Band and Blackfoot) and Radio Tokyo in 1988, and 1993 saw the release of that band's "Songscape."
As an engineer he has worked with numerous artists, such as Govt Mule, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Little Milton, Johnnie Taylor, Peter Wolf of the J. Geils Band, Lee Roy Parnell, G Love and Special Sauce and many others.Charles has one gold record as well as several Grammy nominations and has been apart of numerous industry awards.
As a performer he has shared the stage with some of the legends of rock....members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet , Marshall Tucker, Alice Cooper, and many more. Charles is currently spanking the plank for Thunderfoot & Molly Axed-It
Mikkel Chandler (Vocals)
Born in Dyersburg,TN. Mikkel started singing at the early age of 3 in His fathers church. At 10 years old He started traveling with His family singing at southern gospel revivals across the state of Tennessee, By age 14 Millel was entering vocal compititions singing some of His favorite cover tunes. Mikkel then moved with family to Jacksonville,FL. where He discovered southern rockers "Lynyrd Skynyrd" His love for singing southern rock took off and by age 20 He had moved to Nashville,TN. to pursue a career in the music business. As a song writer Mikkel has written several songs for many up and coming artist, and caought the interest of Sony, Curb and warner records. Now after many years, Mikkel is bringing His well seasoned voice to the stage as lead vocalist for Molly Axed It.

Kevin Taylor (Lead Guitar)
Born in South Carolina,Kevin moved to Georgia at the age of 3. He was introduced to guitar at a young age of 12 and soon became fascinated with trying to play anything He heard. Years later a friend introduced him to Molly Hatchets 1st album, and he was hooked. Molly hatchet became his favorite band. Over the years Kevin has played or recorded with many talented musicians such as: Paul Goddard, Dean Daughtry and Steve Stone of "Atlanta Rhythm Section" also Todd Smally of "Derek Trucks" and former "Lynyrd Skynyrd" drummer Bob Burns. Back in 2004 Kevin joined Molly Hatchet for a short time until original founding member Dave Hlubek rejoined the band. Kevin is excited to be a member of Molly Axed-It. and looks forward to doing what He can to honor the legend of the original era members.
Todd Stansfield (Drums)
Todd began his musical career in Maryland in 1980 after being inspired to play drums by his uncle who played in Pro touring bands : The Rick Hipple Duo and The Stone Mill Band based out of Louisville, KY. and featured on CMT.
After honing his skills on the skins, Todd used his skills to perform and record many studio albums with several bands including performing in some killer tribute acts: Kill The King (Tribute to DIO) Animal Magnetism (Scorpions Tribute) and Dirty Movies (Tribute to Van Halen)
Todd ha also shared the stage with a slue of Pro touring acts like: Overkill, Metal Church, Vince Neil, Krokus, Great white and The Kentucky Headhunters, As well as sitting in with the late Banner Thomas from Molly Hatchet. Todd was always a huge fan of Hatchet citing He studied The late Bruce Crumps drumming techniques while honing in and mastering his own.
