Noisy Colours is a 4-piece progressive rock n roll band from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Having started in the winter of 2007, the group has undergone a few line-up changes, all of them adding more to the dynamic and the evolution of their sound. The current line-up consists of singer Jalissa Endicott, guitar player Louis Mendez, bassist David McCargar and drummer Robert Latte.
The 4-piece's sound draws heavily from the different eras of Rock n Roll, with the group not being afraid to explore the different possibilities of song-writing and experimenting with structure and timing. This is all layered with heavy guitar riffs, funky bass lines and a voice that will make your soul sing. Noisy Colours are known for their raw and energetic live performances that's earned them their reputation as one of Edmonton's up-and-coming bands.
In March 2013, they released their first full-length album, "Angry Cruel Nasty", which was recorded with old singer Ashanti Marshall. Now with a new singer and new confidence, Noisy Colours look to expand their sound and to take their brand of raw rock to a new level.
Noisy Colours will be making their live return at the Bermuda Festival launch party August 1st at the Wunderbar.
