One Day Steady is an alternative band hailing from Cincinnati Ohio. This group is comprised of Ryan Peters (Lead Vocalist, Rhythm Guitarist), Tucker Stremming (Lead Guitarist, Backup Vocals), Garrett Skirvin (Drums, Backup Vocals), and Garrett Zimmerman (Bass, Backup Vocals). Their sound is a diverse blend of 90's Rock and new age alternative that is a bridge between Third Eye Blind and Kings of Leon. The band formed in late 2010 playing small shows at local bars but has since become a sensation in the Cincinnati and tri-state area. Since opening for national acts such as Chase Coy & Rival Summers in early 2011, One Day Steady has played to some of the biggest venues around. Some of these include The Madison Theater (Covington, KY), The Mad Hatter & Radio Down (Covington, KY), The Agora (Cleveland, OH), A&R Music Bar (Columbus, OH), The Emerson Theater (Indianapolis, IN), & many others. With the release of their first EP We Might Be Crazy In May of 2012, the band began to be noticed by many local media outlets and has seen a substantial growth in their fan base on social media sites.
California Based Music Connection Magazine has reviewed One Day Steady's EP "We Might Be Crazy in their March issue that was distributed all across North America. One Day Steady performed live as a featured band on Fox 19's television show Cincinnality. One Day Steady also made a guest appearance on Class X Radio 89.9 in Cincinnati where they did an in studio performance and have their music in rotation. They have also been a guest on the University Of Cincinnati Bearcast radio show and their EP is currently in rotation on many college stations. One Day Steady has also made appearances in the Cincinnati Enquirer and other local newspapers.
After a short stint in 2012 with a small northern Ohio management company, the group realized that they had outgrown their management and decided to part ways. Now the band is re-focused with a bolder, exciting, & more genuine sound. Currently One Day Steady is in pre-production of their first full length album and is searching for opportunities with new venues.
