Born and raised in Hollywood, CA, Prince Rashid is an emerging 22 year old Bengali recording artist. Growing up in Los Angeles, he was introduced to different styles of music, but fell in love with hip-hop and its culture. While pursing his degree in economics, at the age of 17, at the University of California Riverside, Rashid began to devote much of his free time and energy into creating music. While going to school, he was a Dean's Honor Roll student as well as President of his fraternity. During his senior year, he began to release music, and perform at small house parties throughout the L.A. and Inland Empire areas. Within two months, he landed his first big show with Playboi Carti in Riverside, CA. He quickly began to gain popularity in both the city of Riverside, and his hometown of Hollywood. All of this happened before the end of April 2016. Since then, he has performed along side artists from Metro Boomin, to Madintyo, to Gucci Mane. At his shows, he releases new music only for the audiences ears. He says, "modern day rap music is oversatturated, and in a world where everyone is overexposed, the best thing you can do is remain a secret." He is quickly blowing up within Southern California, and his highly anticipated debut untiltled EP will be dropping in the summer of 2017.
