About Tany - Tany's been singing since she was a kid and likes a wide range of musical styles, making her a perfect fit for Revenant. When she auditioned to take our former female singer's place, due to a move back East, she blew everyone away with her stage presence and her strong, powerful and beautiful voice. Now that we have her, it's like Hotel California - she can never leave!
Floyd is a GIT graduate, and has been playing a long time. His eclecticism is amazing! Floyd's ideal band would be along the lines of Joe Bonamassa meets King Crimson and Frank Zappa.
Michael Shaw has also been playing guitar for a LONG time and he and Floyd fit really well together in this group. His broad tastes mesh well with the group, too. Everyone in the band likes variety and that keeps things fun!
Mark is a really fun guy to work with. His bass playing is superb and he's got a great sense of humour to top it all off.
David comes to us with a lot of professional experience, and is a HUGE asset to the group. He has a Doctorate in Music!
Deb Salter is an MD by day and musician with Revenant by night, and she ROCKS the flute! Her vocals are great, too!!
Last but not least, Steve rounds out the group on Drums as well as vocals. He founded Revenant 5 years ago. Playing his first professional jobs as a teenager, he played with Larry Groce for a whle and Jimmy Griffin, the guitarist/vocalist/songwriter for Bread. He's not an especially flashy drummer, just one who serves the song like his idols, Jim Keltner and Ringo Starr.
