Anthony Avery, better known as "Rizzo" is on his way to become the next big Hip-Hop and R&B superstar. Born April 23, 1994, the 23 year old got his start in music at an early age. He was born in Jamaica Queens, but moved to Savannah, Georgia at 5 years old. After moving and growing up in Georgia, Rizzo began to take his music career more seriously. He attend A.I in Atlanta where he began networking and establishing himself as a musician. After looking in a dictionary with a friend for a stage name, the two came up with "Rizzo" and the name has stuck with the artist ever since.
Rizzo's style of music can be described as a hybrid mix of Hip-Hop and R&B. His influences include: Kendrick Lamar, Lyfe Jennings, Mali Music, and Trey Songz just to name a few. Rizzo inspires to be like these fellow artists but also bring his unique flavor into the game by touching hearts. He hopes to one day make it big and become a billboard chart topping artist.
He has been busy making music to reach these goals faithfully. His most recent EP entitled “HipSoul" has received positive feedback and proves that he has what it takes to make it big.
Rizzo has opened up for K-Camp, Young Dolph, Shinobi Ningas, and more. Rizzo says that moving to Atlanta was one of his greatest accomplishments, so don't be surprised when you hear his name as being a part of the "New Atlanta."
