Samira Pedic was born and raised in Melbourne Australia, a city most notably known for its vast club and festival culture is where Dj Samira had discovered her passions for Trance and progressive inspired by former Australian Dj sensation and friend Steve Strangis. Following the influences of Strangis’ emotive sound, her father’s talents as guitarist and many high profile trance international producers; Samira began creating her own path by purchasing her own set of Technics 1200’s turntables and began earning her stripes as a talented artist. Not too long after, Samira became firm favourite in the radio circuit making guest appearances a number of times on Vinylism (Joy FM) and club gigs such as 3D and Infinity.
All too quickly, Samira had then made a decision to put her music career on hold as she became a wife and now a mother to an adoring son. This hiatus could not have ended soon enough as Samira had once again set her eyes on making an impact on the Melbourne Trance scene. From a night out with friends at an event watching Kyau & Albert, she then instantly became an in-demand artist within the local scene once more. Samira has had a fulfilling 2017, her smooth mixing of uplifting and progressive Trance and her amazing stage presence has presented further opportunities to play with the Trancegression and Harmonix crew. Samira has since then supported international artists such as Darren Porter, James Dymond and Standerwick to name a few. When Samira is not rocking the nightclubs, she enjoys making her regular guest appearances on Trancegression Radio (Kiss FM) and as her performances are already widely known, she continues to be offered additional guest appearances including an international show on the beautiful island of Mauritius. Samira's bubbly personality, as well as her professionalism is testament to her passion and has quickly made her into fan favourite within the Trance massive. Moving onward and upward, Samira shows no signs of slowing down as she continues to practice her craft so she will always stay on top of her game as one of Australia’s best up and coming Dj’s. Be as it may, Samira will soon be recognised as one of our hottest exports. WATCH THIS SPACE #teamsamira !
