CMOVEMENT MUSIC LLC / SUPA SHUG
S.E Done it, who did it? Shug started walking in the most infamous neighborhoods for crime; Arthur Capper Dwellings and moved from one zone to another; the Simple City Projects. Also known as, Brady Scott a Washington D.C. native and a sovereign of the streets, Shug knew at an early age to live a life of discipline. His family and parents pushed education and religion. The environment covered him. You can call it an excuse or just survival. The Amex of the streets was necessary, so he learned to handle his first weapon under the tutelage of his mother. The talent of sound was also passed down so please lets be thankful for the path that was taken.
The story began in Washington D.C. where we first discovered the energy, sound and stage presence, which brought the hip hop fans but also the haters. The Bull Pen is who I mean. He and his cousin (Teeny man) began to soar you could see them ripping "The Spot" any given night. From starring on DVD's to sitting at table's talking deals only to turn away back to D.C. Shug tells his family and friends that the "industry standards were astonishing" he tell us they were asked to turn away a friend that helped the Bull Pen to the tables not happen Bull Pen said NO and some other choice words!
He returned to D.C. more eager for hip hop and D.C. the sounds kept coming. Shug had to relocate to Northern Virginia with the hopes of expanding his business and funding his drive to open "BEATS THAT GOES PLATINUM", purchasing all major recording equipment, while also recording a album at one of the largest recording studio's on NOVA (CUE'S).
FAKE IT Till YOU MAKE IT! WOW what a trip. Shug tells stories of jail, girls, money FL, NY, NC, VA, and DC and missing a BET interview while watching an associate get taken to jail. Shug continued to promote his CD (FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT) performing in several different METRO venues.
Shug also was guest host at club Fuel in Daytona Beach FL with Tigger. There was a performance that really had a major effect on Shug, the D.C. Armory. Opening for 50 Cent at the start of 50 careers, the show was a large achievement for the Beats That Goes Platinum organization.
Shug took a two year retreat to work on his craft and just to get away for a while. After returning, Shug began working on the METRO MATRIX'S. He had no idea it would be such a success. He is currently promoting his new CD by performing live with the best bands in Washington D.C., including the legendary Sugar Bear that's right EU and the crew.
SUPA SHUG Events that has continued to be the driven force of our fan base.
