The Sight of Impact are one of the foremost up and coming bands from South Texas. Formed in 2009 by lifelong friends Moises Lopez and Aaron Cruz. They were sooned joined by Jessie Mendoza, Isaac Zamora, John Angulo, and Marco Lugo. Growing up in a region that was either dominated by metal or tejano they wanted to break the mold. Drawing off of such diverse influences as Breaking Benjamin, Avenged Sevenfold, Tupac and especially video games they began creating music that defied genre. Soon they began creating a devoted local following with their unique live performances. When as so often happens they hit a bump in the road when John and Marco had to leave for college. After an exhaustive search they soon met local prodigy UJ Martinez and Trey Blanco to once again round out the lineup and rebuild. After several successful regional tours as well as appearances with A Life Once Lost, Adema, Hed Pe, Avatar and an appearance at the prestigious Never Say Never Festival they entered the studio with Wade Concienne of Like Monroe. There they recorded their breakthrough single "Ballad of the Sea". They will be returning to the studio in January 2015 to finish up their debut EP. You can catch them throughout the year in a town near you.
