Thunderfoot
Thunderfoot rose from the ashes of a southern rock tragedy, and the infancy of rock & roll itself !
Made up of members of the Southern Rock Allstars & Son of the drummer for Bill Haley & The Comets.
They were born, raised and lived in such music meccas as Detroit, St Louis and Muscle Shoals. It was there that they learned their craft. Spreading it like wildfire to the masses by sharing stages with Kansas, Alice Cooper, Pat Travers, 38 Special, Starship, Dee Snider, Blue Oyster Cult and many more.
Scott Mabrey (Vocals, Guitar)
Scott hails from Detroit,Michigan....Detroit Rock City....Its here that he fused his love of heavy metal and hard rock into his own brand of music. Rocking the walls of such rock clubs as Harpo's, gave him the itch and provided him with the vehicle to travel the world... In the 90's Scott relocated to Muscle Shoals, AL. It was there that he took advantage of the oppurtunity to play and/or work with many successful recording artists, including: Confederate Railroad, Montgomery Gentry, Wilson Pickett, The Temptations and many more. Working in recording studios around the Muscle Shoals area helped to sharpen Scott’s skills as a recording engineer as well as a producer. These skills were put to good use as he worked on Bo Bice's, pre American Idol, first studio release. Scott, along with partner Ava Aldridge, worked with pre Nashville Star winner Angela Hacker. Scott was a founding member of “Tank n Steele” a rock band with four studio releases and toured the southeast headlining clubs & bike rallies. Rally highlights include the American Ironhorse Round-Up and The Trail of Tears Commemorative Ride. In 2002, Scott was hired as F.O.H. Engineer for the Southern Rock Allstars. Later in 2004 Scott took the stage as one of the guitarist for SRA. 2005 saw Scott accepting a position with the reunited ‘Blackfoot’ as their Tour Manager & Front of House Engineer. In the meantime Scott & founding Blackfoot drummer, the late Jakson Spires, were writing & recording “Legends Never Die” which would eventually become the new CD from Thunderfoot.
Charles Hart ( Bass Guitar & Vocals )
Charles is from a little south Alabama stuck right between the home towns of Hank Williams, Hank Locklin, and William lee Golden of Oak Ridge Boys fame...He grew up listening to WSM nashville with his dad then late night searching the rock stations on the AM dial....Dreaming of the day he would get his shot..... While Charles has spent the last 14 years as bass player for the Southern Rock Allstars, his rockin' resume goes back even further than that. He founded Cruize Control in 1986, and in 1987 joined Tempera, who appeared with Richard Marx's first tour.He even did a short stint in Adam's Housecat, whose members became the driving force behind the Drive By Truckers. Charles then united with Jay Johnson(Rossington Band and Blackfoot) and Radio Tokyo in 1988, and 1993 saw the release of that band's "Songscape."
