"Head Heart Hand" is the second mixtape released from Trill Cut with production from Big K.R.I.T.'s 4Eva & A Day. Unlike the previous releases from Trill Cut, he focuses on his soul sound on tracks like #SoFresh, Why They Wanna Take My Life and Andre Taylor. The mixtape's title is dedicated to Mary McLeod Bethune and Bethune Cookman University. Trill Cut grew up near the University and the legacy of Mary McLeod Bethune has had a profound influence on the artist.
"Although I went to the University of Florida, I was a wildcat at heart first. The school was always a role model institution in the area and community, but it was the band and the music which drew me in. After reading into Ms. Bethune's educational theory "Head, Heart, Hand" It gave me a feeling that I could truly achieve anything I wanted and put into my mind an ideal which I take with me to date.
I modeled the development of this mixtape after the Head Heart Hand concept. My ultimate goal was to create something sincere to my heart and to also create a resource of positive music for everyone that would last forever. All songs were written and recorded by Till Cut at Tha Crib Studios in Gainesville FL. All songs mastered by Tom SRay Audio Mastering in Scotland.
Trill Cut's "#Dreamer" was aired on OUR show - radio show in Orlando, FL which broadcasts from Rollins College on WPRK 91.5FM Saturdays from 5-7pm playing all types of music with a focus on HIP HOP www.itsOURshow.net
