TURNBUCKLE BLUES REVIEW

Turnbuckle Blues Review was born from the ashes of a late 1990's Sacramento band, "Morrison Creek". TBR started with founding members Eric Weber and Max Chaparro  (both former Morrison Creek members) as an acoustic duo. Soon after, Carie  was added on bass guitar and we began to explore music created by the three of us. We continued to play, write and record songs, and even squeeze in a gig here and there. Through the years, we've always stayed true to our roots and we went down whatever road life chose for us.  Since the beginning, the core three members have remained in place guiding the music wherever it wanted to go. 

 Recently, TBR has added two well known and well respected musicians to our lineup: Jesse Sherwood on drums and percussion and Todd T-Bone Weber on guitar. With the pieces in place, we noticed an immediate and profound change in our sound and have been busy playing local Sacramento area clubs and breweries.  If you want to hear basslines that stay in your head for days, and music that will strike a chord inside you, come and see Turnbuckle Blues Review.
