John de Wit, aka White Mash is a Dutch musician, composer, producer. Started making recordings back in the 1990s, his material is experimental electro, with underlying industrial, rap, alternative rock and even heavy metal elements.
His skill is in finding synergies between these seeming disparate genres. He learnt his trade under the tuition of fellow Dutchman Peter Tetteroo (of 1960s/1970s band Tee Set), gaining knowledge of different classical styles of music, which are still evident in his work today.
He has collaborated with a wide range of different artists in recent years. NWA, the Crystal Methode, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Rage Against the Machine are among his key influences.
