Johnny Donta Platt Jr. was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on June 23rd 1990. Growing up on the notorious Preston Ave off Murchison Road, the streets exposed Johnny to the harsh realities of life. Like most 90's babies, Johnny grew up listening to the greats of that era like Tupac, Biggie, Wu-Tang, Goodie MoB, And Ghetto Boys. At the age of 10 Johnny began rapping and soon became a part of a rap group called “Get Wet Crew”. He won his first talent show his freshman year of school at E.E. Smith High. He credits Savannah, Georgia artist Camouflage as one of his greatest influences while widely relating to artists such as Gucci Mane, Dolph, Boosie, and Shy Glizzy.
