Hailing from the slums of Toronto, in and out of hostels, my dad dies when I was 2 by a drunk driver. This event changed my life dramatically, my mother fell into a downward spiral of drugs & alcohol. Life was far from normal. Parties every night, turning violent, I'd hide away in my room listening to my 1Love, music. I found refuge in music. In school I was smart, but bullied so I would intentionally get into trouble, so not to face the mean kids during recess, and eventually I would leave as I couldn't cope. In 2011, retracing my roots, led me to a new revelation, that I had a biological sister and brother , my mother had never told me of, a 40 year secret. Truth is the key to happiness, it's the way I live my life. I just wanted to know the truth. I want all people to be treated equal. I can be a voice for those people, who have potential but just down on their luck.
