26 BATS! creates music with a new sound while reflecting elements of their influences which span from alternative rock, jazz fusion, soul, blues and hip hop. These jazz and blues trained musicians challenge their sound with their desire for sonic exploration. They have been compared to Hiatus Kaiyote and Portishead. By using themes of self realization and overcoming hate, this twin cities based band has full intentions of empowering and healing.
