Born and raised South Side of Chicago. Very first time she sung a song, had to be when Alicia Keys “Fallen’’ came out. At that time she was only five years old. Amiah was in love with her as well as Aaliyah and Lauryn Hill, and other artists she was later introduced to. Amiah sung all the time when she was alone or in the car and the music was to loud for anyone to hear her. Amiah hid her talent for years even though she always knew she wanted to be a star. When in her junior year of high school Amiah recorded her first feature song titled “Hard Work”. Still on YouTube. Amiah began to take singing to another level she started writing her own songs. Artists like Lauryn Hill, Drake, Jhene Aiko and PartyNextdoor, allowed her to expand her mind to deeper writing. It also Challenged Amiah to better her writing skills.
Amiah currently sing R&B/Soul music with a touch of hiphop in a couple of songs. Amiah loves all genres of music it allows her to explore and advanced her audience reach. Amiah has had the opportunity to performed at many events and outdoor music festivals and looking to expand. Amiah is also linking up with the Epilepsy Foundation as that is something that is near and dear to my heart because of her brother and doing a Charity Concert.
Amiah and her unique twist on music has her own sound that she is capturing her audience with. She wants to stay true to who she is and master her craft to reach millions.
