Crescent Moon began their journey as a band back in the spring of 2013 when three women decided to take the music world by storm. Vickie, a singer and performer since the age of 13, and her daughters who are also performers, Kortney guitarist/singer, and Morgan pianist/singer, put together their family artistry to start a classic rock tribute band different from any other in the Central PA area.
The comradery between the musicians in Crescent Moon is undeniable. Vickie brings the powerful essence of Stevie Nicks, Anne Wilson, and Robert Plant to the stage. Her emotion-packed vocals leaves no stone unturned with each rock ballad she performs, keeping the audience in the palm of her hands. Kortney takes on the original guitar licks of each classic song with her clear cut, emotion-driven solos. She is an up and coming young female guitarist who is sure to capture your attention the moment you hear her play. Morgan brings the stylistic influences of Billy Joel and Elton John into her signature piano playing. With a classical background, she creates beautiful, melodic sections that take each song to another level, transforming the music as a whole. To round out the sound, their family harmonies complete the sound that is Crescent Moon.
As a band, our heavy influences consist of Fleetwood Mac, Heart, the Eagles, and Led Zeppelin. However, we cover a wide variety of artists from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. We aim to make each song as close to the original as possible. We want to give these legendary musicians justice while paying tribute to the women of rock and roll. Our goal is to make that one person who is having a terrible week smile, hopefully inspiring others as they’ve inspired us. No show is ever the same twice. We developed a create your own tribute concept to tailor each show to what the audience desires. We know how to put on a show and are willing to pull out all the stops for classic rock music fans. We plan on entertaining audiences with great music for years to come.

2018 Crescent Moon Announcement
Hello brothers and sisters of the moon!
It's been two years since we have performed together as a band. My, how the time has flown gifting us wings of growth and metamorphosis. 2016 proved to be a powerful year of change for Crescent Moon. Shortly before our last show together, Kortney and Morgan both received incredible opportunities to further their separate careers. They chose to continue chasing their dreams; something I have always encouraged and instilled in these young, confident, wise and powerful women to do. If you had the pleasure of meeting them, you would agree when I say they are bound to do incredible things in their industries. Both women are making leaps and strides in their careers and I couldn’t be more proud, excited, happy (you name it) to call them my daughters. If you follow me on social media, you’ve probably heard me raving about the amazing things they’ve done since their departure from Crescent Moon. I will continue to remain their biggest fan as I watch them continue to bloom.
In keeping up with our fans on social media over the years, our friends and fans (brothers and sisters) have continued to show their interest in hearing more music. I get messages almost every day asking when our next show will be. As the founder of Crescent Moon, I am excited to officially announce that I will be holding full auditions this year to bring the show back to our dedicated fans. First and foremost, I have a few major surgeries to undergo over the next few months (adulthood sucks sometimes) therefore, auditions will be held, and dates announced when I have fully recovered.
My daughters and I have made some incredible memories over the years. From the countless rehearsals to the many stages of all shapes and sizes, we could write a book on our experiences together as a band. I can’t express how magical it was to have that experience as a family. I don’t intend on filling their place because at the end of the day, you can’t replace that mother-daughter love, connection and musicianship. The 2018 auditions will be focused on looking for dedicated musicians who are willing to pull out all stops to pay an honorable tribute to the bands we hold so near and dear to our ears and hearts; just as the girls and I have done so passionately in the past.

2014
As the end of 2014 draws near, I find myself sitting here, close to 4 a.m. reflecting on the altering year we've had. We performed at the Burning Bridge Tavern over the weekend. We had such a great time, but I couldn't avoid that bittersweet aftertaste as we played our last show of the year. In our first year touring with the band, so many incredible things have happened. We had the blessed opportunity to perform for hundreds of different people from the streets of Lancaster, to the clubs of New Jersey. It all seems crazy to think about how many dancing faces we've seen, but most importantly, the ones that just stopped and listened to the music. That kind of bond between us musicians and the audience is simply magical. Through that connection, we've been able to get close enough to call many of you our friends. This is what I love so much about performing music. Art moves people, and the energy that you radiate, makes our job something that we crave every time we leave the stage. So here's to you, 2014.
I hope 2015 is ready for us. It might get loud.

Summer Tour
Crescent Moon friends, family, and fans! We have had a wonderful summer tour thus far. From meeting new music fans on the humble streets of Lancaster, to Ohio and New Jersey, we've been extremely blessed. Kortney here. We've just added a few more dates to the show tab on our website and are in the works of adding many more! Nothing makes us more happy than getting up on a stage and living that music. Hearing you all sing along makes it simply magical.
In other news, we've announced a few new features about our show to the public.
1.) The three leading ladies of Crescent Moon are offering acoustic shows to those who want to see our show captured in a more intimate style, highlighting our family harmonies and playing styles.
2.) "Pick your own tribute" feature. This exciting new concept is designed to tailor what kind of music YOU want to hear. For more information, go to our "contact" tab. You can either email us, or call our direct management number. Ask for Vickie. :)
3.) Know that no show will ever be the same. We mix up our music for a special unique performance every time we get on that stage.
