CRIMSON REIGN
Hailing from Phoenix, AZ, USA, Crimson Reign consisting of Titus Medina (vocals, guitars), Philip Hernandez (drums), Zipp Wiggins (guitars), Ken Pacini (Keyboards) is a band on the rise that you do not want to miss.
The band began performing extensively throughout the local scene; performing for any venue, stage or contest who would have them; from battle of the bands to small club gigs. Live show after live show helped the band find their true identity and cohesion, which resulted in their growing popularity and in the increasing demand for a full-length debut album. The band decided to fully focus on their recording and song-writing process and before long, the group had something amazing to look forward to. Produced and engineered by Titus Medina, "The Calling" was released and has been well received throughout Europe and the U.S. The music and live performances has been noted by promoters and booking agents which has led the band to become an INTERNATIONAL ACT. They performed with SEVERAL of the music industry’s greatest Heavy Metal/ Hard Rock bands of all time at one of the world’s largest metal festivals in the WORLD in 2018, HELL AND HEAVEN FESTIVAL in Mexico City, Mexico! Crimson Reign opened the ‘Heaven Stage” on May 5th and shared the main stages that day with OZZY OSBOURNE, JUDAS PRIEST, MEGADETH, MARILYN MANSON, SAXON, and GOJIRA while other stages hosted the great EPICA, OVERKILL, GWAR, and HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD to name a few! Even MORE major acts of all time were part of the festival such as THE SCORPIONS, DEEP PURPLE, TESTAMENT, MASTADON, BAD RELIGION, MOONSPELL, SABATON, and MANY others! This was more than just a festival, it was a piece of MUSIC HISTORY!
Crimson Reign is currently writing and recording the second album to be released in 2019 and is well on their way to a modified new direction. The new sound has a heavier foundation and incorporates new elements that is taking the band to a whole new, higher level while still maintaining it's melodic roots and high energy impact. The first single from the new album, "The Darker Side Of Life" is scheduled for release in Sept. 2018.
Crimson Reign’s sound has been compared to Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Judas Priest, Iced Earth, and Metallica just to name a few HOWEVER, you can expect a unique and modern sound to be heard when you listen to them.

Dan Johnson to play drums for Crimson Reign
DAN JOHNSON who has played drums for Brian "Head" Welch / Love and Death since 2009 and currently RED will be onboard with CRIMSON REIGN allowing the band to continue to move forward with live performances (dates coming soon!) until a permanant drummer is hired that can fulfill the position! Dan may also be recording the tracks on the next Crimson Reign album that is anticipated to be recorded in 2015. Keep watch as this METAL MACHINE continues to roll!!

"This column always had a soft spot for good American power metal. Bands like Crimson Reign show that there's still future in the genre. Their debut is an interesting offer, marrying "catchier" ideas with dark timbres that unearth memories of more obscure acts like Mystik, Barren Cross, old Icarus Witch or Attika. The more "easy-listening" parts brought some faint memories of Raising Cain but generally speaking, their darker parts make most of the comparisons with other bands of the genre seem invalid, as Crimson Reign seem to carve their own path. The result sounds quite interesting, with rich guitars and clever climaxes inside the compositions, while the production is also helping a lot in the final result. The only debatable part may be the lack of sharp riffs that take the first role, as we're accustomed by US power metal, but in this case, this scenario acts in favor of the whole atmosphere. Phoenix, AZ band Crimson Reign is proud to introduce their debut album “The Calling”! Mastered by the legendary Bob Ludwig and mixed by Ralph Patlan (Megadeth catalog re-mix 2004, ex-Korn member: Brian “Head” Welch), beauty lies in the darkness of this heartfelt metal machine. With melodic/powerful vocals, shredding guitar solos, and driving drums and bass, a new monster arises from the deep. Power metal with both classic and modern tastes. Every song has something different to offer from the struggles of "Poverty" and suffering of "Tests of Faith" to coming to terms with reality after losing your mind with "Man Within" and foolishly toying with the other side in "Zaricco".
