Born and raised in Martin, TN - a small town with a population of 10,000 - Crystal Renee’ Hayslett grew up with an undeniable love for music. By age 5, she was singing in her local Church; age 12, active in vocal and dance lessons; and age 14, performing in front of local audiences. Fast-forward to today and you have the R&B songstress that the world will soon get to know as, Crystal Renee’.
Although her physical being is no longer there, her spirit will forever exemplify “small-town girl” - the girl that loves hard and trusts easy. Her music is a soundtrack of her life. With her girly-raspy sound, she uses her music to advocate for love. She is that naïve, girl-next-door that you want to shake and tell to “snap out of it” but the girl that has also learned a thing or two about broken-hearts and struggles. Although a true lover at heart, there is still that other side of her that knows how to have fun - the side that likes to hang out with the girls and party too. All of which are displayed in her musical catalog.
With the current state of the music industry, where gimmicks are plenty and talent is few, Crystal Renee’ is planning for the long haul. Her talent speaks for itself; her presence needs no introduction and her determination requires no fine-tuning. You can find her spending countless hours in the studio, writing and/or recording music, or somewhere rehearsing for a show. With a growing online buzz and record labels’ interest brewing, Crystal Renee’ is preparing to take over the music scene one fan at a time. “I knew then - and I still know - that this is my calling,” states Crystal Renee’, “I’m a very spiritual person and I strongly believe that God gives everyone a gift that is to be used selflessly for the benefit of others. I’m just ready to use my gift and make good music that will reside in the hearts of all those that listen,” she finishes.
